...This is the name I have given to the evening light of june that has been splattered across my yard from around 6:00 pm to around 8:00 pm (see below).
After an exhausting year, it is finally summer. These past few days have allowed me to tend to the things I never seem to have time to tend to: picking the piles of clothes off of my bedroom floor, treating myself to a mani-pedi, catching up on my reading, etc.
In about nine days, I will be on a plane to the UK where I will study the slow food movement in both London and on a farm in rural Wales. I cannot wait.
As for now, I'll continue to admire the golden freckles of the summer dusk.
